(Partly tongue-in-cheek)  Professor Ownby's
article is great, but, for anyone who has
been on the road with a southern rock band
or even attended a concert by ZZ Top or
other southern rock groups, I'd hardly
say that "women apparently played a minor
role in their worldview."

Just gimme two steps, mister.
